This tuff cream Torana graced the workshop recently when her new owner dropped her in with a list of issues to address.We re-setup the suspension, rectified steering issues, upgraded the braking system and after finding a spun rod bearing, also rebuilt the engine and upgraded to a forged 580 cube. We converted it to solid roller with custom grind and had the heads ported as well which all up helped pick up another 125 rear wheel horsepower. We had to keep in mind the owner wanted her to remain reasonably street drive-able without being a ‘street race’ car.
