Shipped in from Victoria this very tidy yellow GT came in for some needed wiring love after a lengthy stay at an Auto Electrician. With a melted dash and a lot of chopping and splicing revealed, it was decided to completely replace the vehicle wiring.
We stripped her of all main and sub-looms and replaced them with our own reproduction looms. Whilst here we also fixed up a few other minor issues and completely restored her steering wheel.
It amazes us how many cars we’ve had through here with looms like this (black electrical tape hides a lot), some from names that frequently pop up for recommendations on social media.
The wiring in your car is a critical component and we highly recommend doing your research before investing/risking in having it repaired/restored!
